NCBF EXECUTIVE BOARD

November 21, 2006

 

Location: Trinity United Methodist Church , Germantown , MD.

Call to Order: The NCBF Executive Board meeting was called to order at 7PM .

Roll Call: Members Present: John Sisson, Brian Cox and Chuck Walker.

Treasurer’s Report: Will be updated at the December Meeting.

OLD BUSINESS:  

Project: The October Youth Tournament on the Potomac was postponed until April 2007. The weather dropped to 32 degrees causing the parents and the Federation to call it off.

Project: On October 29th, the Federation held a Fishing derby on Lake Needwood for the Rockville Brownie Troop. Troop Leader Debbie Randle requested our assistance in teaching the girls the use of the rod and reel. Federation members assisting were John Sisson, Cedric Simon, Wayne Ball, John Celada, Bill Kramer, Jim Borum and Arvelt Cook.

NEW BUSINESS:

Timonium Bass Expo: The contract has been signed for 2007. Mark your calendars for January 11th through the 14th. (2007 Project)

Elections: The nominating Ballots have been sent to all members in good standing. The final ballot, based on the nominations will be mailed shortly after this meeting. All members having been nominated will be contacted to verify they have consented to run for office. The final ballot must be returned no later then December 31st...

Dues Invoices: All members, current and past have been sent a letter inviting all to return. The dues are $75 for full membership, $25 for Associate membership, with the Federation paying the $5 youth fee. All dues MUST be in By December 15th. We must have our roster returned to TBF to guarantee our being insured for 2007. The $75 covers your TBF dues. All members must register and join the FLW online at www.flwoutdoors.com.

State Team Qualifications for 2008: Discussion to adjust the way the team is selected will take place at the January 21, 2007 Membership Meeting.

Participation Roster: The roster for 2006 is up to date with one more meeting scheduled.

NCBF Schedule: The 2007 NCBF Schedule has been placed on the website and will be updated with changes throughout the year.

Next Meeting: The next meeting will be held Tuesday, December 19th at the Church at 7 PM .
