Membership Meeting Minutes
Location: The Nations Capitol Bass Federation (NCBF)
meeting will be held at the Montgomery County, Md. Training Academy. The Academy

Call to Order: The
meeting was called to order at
Roll Call: Jim Kline, Tim Cameron, Jim Niffenegger, Alan Mullis, Larry Dodd, Debra Dodd, Chuck Walker, Seth Brohawn, Bo Curry, Chuck Hartzman.
Treasurer’s Report: The current balance is $12, 327.97.
Hats and Apparel: Becky Sisson has delivered the NCBF member hats, with logos. They are available for sale for $15. They are in three different color styles and are available at the meeting or by calling Chuck @ 301-977-5282. We have ordered the Federation NCBF patches. As soon as they are delivered they can and will be placed on our shirts. Should the NCBF order BASS patched and have them placed on shirts, automatically?
2003 State Team: Bo
Curry will post on the website.
NCBF Open Tournament: There were eleven boats in the Tournament. Should there be a second Open for 2005? Note: Five out of twelve volunteers helped at the Open. They were Bo Curry, Tim Cameron, Jim Borum, Tim Hartzell, Tray Curry and Haley Curry.
Elections: An
election committee will collect the names of all possible candidates at the
October meeting. The committee will contact qualified nominations and present
that list to the Secretary at the November meeting. Names can be added up until
the November meeting. The Secretary at the November meeting will prepare the
ballot for Executive Board review and approval. Once approved, the ballot will
be sent to all members and posted on the website within five days of the
meeting. The ballots will be counted at the January Membership meeting. The 2005
Executive Board will be sworn in during the meeting.
Bassmaster: BASS has started a new Grass
Roots Trail. Blind draw-shared weight concept. Federation members first in line.
VA/NC Division. NE Division. MD/VA Division. Youth Divisional eliminated. ESPN
Venues.
Picnic: October 16th Call Debbie @ 301-934-1129 before
Cook out- come for
the day. Bring a dish for Saturday lunch- a fish fry with hamburgers and hotdogs
for Saturday dinner. Swimming, lawn party, Adult/Kids Tx. Bring the kids and
friends of kids. Bring boats but are not required. Leave them at home and
have fun on land. Big bass, big catfish, and big fat perch, all farm fed. You
can fish three ponds and the

CastingKids: Debbie is working with
the Youth Director on having one.
Trout Pond:
We need to get it completed.
Chuck Hartzman will contact Bob Dobart about setting up at the 2005 Bass Expo
(13-16 Jan 2005).
By-Law Changes: These need to be reviewed over the winter.
Website Changes: Chris Scott is working on updating our website. More to follow.
Laptop Computer Requirement: Software and Camera.

2004-2005 Web Calendars of Events: Larry Yates has agreed to continue producing and updating the NCBF Calendar. Please keep Larry informed if you become aware of events that should be on the calendar or events impacting NCBF scheduled events. His email is lyates@trucking.org.
